DEVA-AAC has received the visit of the evaluation committee in the process of renewal of its membership to ENQA as a full member

From 2nd to 5thof April, AAC-DEVA has received the visit of the evaluation committee appointed by ENQA (EuropeanAssociationforQualityAssurance in HigherEducation) to assess the degree of compliance of the AAC-DEVA evaluation activities on official degrees and institutions with the standards and guidelines for quality assurance (ESG2015) in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).

In a busy schedule, the evaluation committee has met with the president of the Andalusian Knowledge Agency, members of the Governing Council, members of the Technical Committee for Evaluation and Accreditation, the DEVA Management, technical and administration staff, evaluators (national and international), students, Rectors and maximum representatives of the Andalusian universities, Heads of Quality Assurance from the Andalusian universities and representatives of services of academic and professional orientation to the student body as well as employer representatives.

In the closing session, the evaluation committee has highlighted as the main strengths of AAC-DEVA, the commitment and professionalism of the AAC-DEVA’s staff and the positive assessment that the Andalusian universities perform on the work carried out by AAC-DEVA in the improvement of degrees and university institutions.

Using the information contained in the self-assessment report and that obtained during the visit, the evaluation committee will prepare a report on the degree of compliance with the ESG2015 that will be used by ENQA Board to issue a verdict on the renewal of the membership of AAC-DEVA in this association and by EQAR for the renewal of registration in this register of external quality assurance agencies. The process is expected to be completed in September 2019.
