Evaluators Data Bank
ACCUA keeps a database of expert evaluators permanently opened to expressions of interest from individuals with academic, scientific, or professional backgrounds, as well as students, who are interested in participating as external reviewers in the quality assurance activities carried out by the Agency.
In the selection of evaluators, ACCUA takes into consideration the Standards and guidelines for quality assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG) as well as the Principles for the Selection of Experts by the European Consortium for Accreditation in Higher Education (ECA).
The ACCUA Directorate will designate external evaluators as members of review panels following criteria such as objectivity, suitability, territorial diversity, independence, absence of conflicts of interest, and availability.
Specific selection criteria, panel composition, and other useful information can be consulted in the evaluator selection and appointment procedure.
The evaluation activity does not require a full-time dedication. Candidates should ensure that they can balance it with their other commitments.
Registration Procedure
Candidates should complete a form for each profile they are applying for. The current data protection regulations apply.
Selection and Appointment Process
ACCUA will contact candidatesproposed to join evaluation panels to ascertain their availability and confirm their participation. After confirmation, the selected personnel must explicitly accept their appointment, which involves adherence to the Agency's code of ethics.
The Agency will provide the necessary information, tools, and training for the development of the evaluation activity.
The compensation for carrying out evaluation activities for ACCUA is in line with that paid for tasks of this type. The total amount varies depending on the number of evaluations conducted, their technical complexity, and the role played in the evaluation panel.
