Forum ‘The challenges facing Spanish universities in the 21st century: competition and internationalisation’.
The Director of ACCUA participated in the forum titled "The Challenges Facing Spanish Universities in the 21st Century: Competition and Internationalisation" organised by the Universidad Tecnológica Atlántico Mediterráneo, UTAMED, in Malaga, held on 12 December 2024.
The forum, presented and moderated by the Rector of UTAMED also featured as speakers the former Secretary General of Universities, the former Director of ANECA, and the founder of the Scimago scientific indexing database.
Discussions centered on the evolving role of universities in modern society and the balance between teaching excellence and research priorities. The panel also explored strategies for achieving institutional excellence and aligning higher education with societal needs and challenges.
