V International Congress of Teaching Innovation and Research in Higher Education

The Director of ACCUA, Antonio J. Cubero, has participated in the V International Congress of Teaching Innovation and Research in Higher Education 'New trends for change in higher education in the Areas of Knowledge', organized by the SEJ-473 Research Group from the University of Almería and Research and Training in Psychology, Education and Health and held on November 30, 2023 at the NH Collection Hotel in Seville.

The Director was part of the round table 'Application of LOSU in Teacher Accreditation and Quality Assessment' together with María del Carmen Pérez Fuentes, Professor at the University of Almería, José Jesús Gázquez Linares, President of the Congress and Professor of Psychology and Ramón Herrera de las Heras, General Secretary of Universities of the Regional Ministry of University, Research and Innovation of the Government of Andalusia.

In it, Cubero broke down the main aspects of LOSU's impact on the teaching staff eligible for accreditation, the current situation in this regard, as well as the main aspects derived from and that affect both the ANECA Accreditation Commissions and the composition of the courts that must judge the TU and CU places that are announced by the universities. Likewise, he dedicated a few words to highlight the importance of the DOCENTIA Program and the need for its evolution and homogenization, to the extent possible, at the national level.
